More SEIU chicanery: Kansas this time

Now that that ACORN has successively, and finally, been exposed as a sleaze pit, it's time to take a close look at the Service Employees International Union, which has closely worked with ACORN. SEIU represents many government workers--I see them as government lobbying for more government. Luckily Kansas Liberty is keeping an eye on SEIU.

The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services and the Department on Aging, with the blessing of its friend in Topeka, Democratic Governor Mark Parkinson, requested private details of employees of companies who do business with the state.

But had not Mike O'Neal, the Republican speaker of the state house, blown the whistle on this chicanery, that information would have been handed over to SEIU--and used to promote ObamaCare.

Earl F. Glynn, the Kansas Meadowlark has a lot more on this story.

Parkinson succeeded Kathleen Sebelius as governor, who of course resigned to become Barack Obama's Health and Human Services secretary.

Glynn, who now blogs at Kansas Watchdog, reports that SEIU donated $100,000 to Sebelius' Bluestem Fund PAC last year.
