Politico writer Glasser fails to mention WikiLeaks, Thrush collusion, in her campaign analysis piece

Well isn't this a hoot. Susan Glasser, a former editor of Politico, who now is now its chief international affairs columnist, writes about how new media and new attitudes have upended the old journalism order. In a very long piece for Politico, "Covering Politics in a 'Post-Truth' America," that was originally published by the Brookings Institution, she analyzes the media's reporting of the 2016 presidential election. One of the revelations from the campaign was the long-suspected unhealthy coziness between the Democratic Party and much of the political media. Left out of Glasser's non-transparent piece was that Politico's then-White House correspondent, Glenn Thrush, was caught, thanks to a WikiLeaks revelation, asking Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, to re-write a paragraph of one of his articles about, yes, the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Clearly Glasser is half-empty, if not more so. She neglects to even mention WikiLeaks in her piece. Glasser is committing the sin-of-omission in her so-called analysis.

Thrush now has a similar job with the New York Times. Glasser's husband was recently hired by the Old Gray Lady too.
