Rahm goes out on a limb and calls Chiraq Memorial Day carnage "unacceptable"

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who is a known afficionado of cuss words, in a Tuesday press conference called the Memorial Day weekend bloodbath in Chiraq "unacceptable." I am looking out the window of my suburban home onto Interstate 94 as I write this entry and the expressway is packed with gangbangers fleeing the city because of the "unacceptable" situation.

That's the best Rahm could come up with--unacceptable.

During the holiday weekend six people were shot to death and an astounding 69 others were wounded. Not included in the fatality total is the death of a woman on the fashionable Gold Coast who was killed by a passing vehicle on Lake Shore Drive as she fled armed robbers.
