Chiraq: 8 dead and at least 12 wounded over weekend

While shootings in Chicago were down from the usual weekend amount there were still many fatalities. Eight people were shot to death and at least 12 others were wounded over the past weekend.

Details are still sketchy on the double shooting deaths on the Kennedy Expressway Sunday morning. A man and a woman from Waukegan were found dead in their Chevy Tahoe, a gun was found on the floor of their SUV.

Half of the weekend's deadly shootings took place in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
