Analysis of Sanders' black voter problem leaves out one crucial detail

In a condescending piece at the Washington Post--yes, I'm white and I know that Ebony and Essence have a primarily African American readership--leftist Janell Ross writes about the failure of Bernie Sanders to gain traction among black voters in the presidential race. She say tonight's Democratic candidate debate could change that.

However, Ross fails to mention something about Sanders. He's Jewish--and relations between Jews and blacks have been frosty since the 1970s. True, most black voters don't know Sanders is Jewish--but when they learn that--then what?

Ross is not telling the full story.
