(Video) Ronald Reagan celebrates National Amateur Baseball Month

Baseball is back. And in the spirit of the season, watch as President Ronald Reagan--a huge baseball fan who used to call the Chicago Cubs and White Sox games via a telegraph machine in Iowa--greet Little Leaguers on the White House lawn in 1983 in honor of National Amateur Baseball Month.

And you'll see some big-leaguers too, including future Hall-of Famer Jim Palmer of the Baltimore Orioles. Vice President George H.W. Bush, who was an outstanding amateur baseball player for Yale, was also in attendance.
