Friday news dump: Coward Obama again delays Keystone decision

Chicago, IL last week
President Obama chose Good Friday, the most solemn day of the Christian calendar--and the start of the long Easter weekend--to announce yet another delay in deciding whether to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, which will bring much-needed petroleum from our friends in Canada and lessening our dependence on oil from hostile nations such as Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

Obama is hoping as many people as possible won't notice his latest instance of dithering on Keystone.

Where I live regular gasoline is selling for over $4-per-gallon, more than double what it was when Obama took office.

High gas prices hurt the poor the most. But Obama would rather pander to wealthy environmentalists who are generous donors to Democratic political campaigns.
