It's been 586 days since Quinn said he was "put on earth" to fix Illinois' pensions

Illinois' enfeebled governor, Pat Quinn, bellowed that he was "put on earth" to repair the state's public-worker pension system on April 20, 2012--that was 586 days ago.

Next week the Illinois House will return to Springfield for a special session, which may address pension reform. Or perhaps something else.

Meanwhile, the Prairie State is burdened by a millstone of a $100 billions pension shortfall.

Earth to Quinn: Answer the call.
