(Photos) Morton Grove Classic Car Show 8/23/13

Summer is winding down and sadly that means it was time for the final Morton Grove Classic Car Show.

DJ Alexus James provided the 1950s and 1960s tunes.

Let's start with an iconic classic--a Chevrolet Corvette--a 1967 Stingray.

Parked next to the Corvette was another Chevy, a 1962 Bel Air.

Ford was a latecomer in naming its cars. Here's a 1934 Coupe.

Here's a much different kind of coupe--a 1969 Buick Electra 225 convertible.

Earlier this month I posted a pic of a 1969 Chevy El Camino coupe utility vehicle. Here's a 1984 model.

There's almost always a Ford Mustang at a classic car show--here's a 1992 convertible.

It was a heavy Chevy night in Morton Grove. Here's a 1978 Chevrolet Malibu Classic.

Here's the only foreign entry in this post, a 1986 Nissan 300zx.

And we began with a Corvette--and we'll depart with one--a 1973 Stingray.

See you in 2014.
