(Photo) American Robin

While the Bald Eagle of course is our national bird, the most American of all birds is probably the American Robin. It is one of the few birds whose range covers the entire continental United States--it even nests in most of Alaska.  How many Americans can honestly say they've never seen one?

So on this July 4th, I present to you the American Robin.
