Sly and the Family Stone: Stand

Three days before Election Day--and for the final time I am connecting my Saturday Musical Selection to the  presidential election. After four years of thug-rule from the Cult of Change, it's time to stand up for real change. Watch and listen as Sly and the Family Stone performs "Stand" in 1974.

Take a look at these lyrics:
Stand, you've been sitting much too long, there's a permanent crease in your right and wrong.
Stand, there's a midget standing tall, and the giant beside him about to fall
Vote for the Romney-Ryan ticket on Tuesday. Stand for real change.
