The Washington Post's Bob Woodward reported in his new book, The Price of Politics, that during negotiations on the $862 stimulus, President Obama called the leaders of the Democratic Party: Then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid. As the great orator spoke, Pelosi muted the phone and went on with the meeting. If Obama cannot lead his own party, how can he lead America?
