Romney wins CPAC straw poll, Maine Caucuses

Mitt Romney has bounced back from a bad performances in two caucuses and a primary race on Tuesday to win this weekend's CPAC straw poll--capturing 38 percent of the vote, with 31 percent going to Rick Santorum. Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul finishing third and fourth, respectively.

I was at CPAC last year when Ron Paul won. Romney finished second with--I'm not making this up--former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson in third.

While in Maine, Romney prevailed in their caucuses by what AP is calling "a slim margin" over Ron Paul, who was hoping for a win in the Pine Tree State.
