Elvis Presley: American Trilogy

From his legendary "Aloha from Hawaii" concert, today's Saturday Musical Selection is Elvis Presley's "American Trilogy," which is comprised of "Dixie," "Battle Hymn of the Republic," and the spiritual "All My Trials."

I chose it because tomorrow is Abraham Lincoln's birthday. Yes, "Dixie" belongs. The day after the surrender of General Robert E. Lee, Lincoln requested an Army band to perform "Dixie"--our greatest president called it "one of the best tunes I ever heard."
