From Havana: Iranian foreign ministry spokesman says U.S. incompetent to comment on human rights

Irony time: While speaking in Havana, Cuba, that notorious dictatorship, Ramin Mehmanparast, Iran's foreign minister, had this to say:

U.S. (officials) lacks competency to make comments on human rights. When they gain competence, we can talk about each and every one of the countries in the Middle East, the Persian Gulf region, and North Africa and study the developments in these countries together.
The latest Iranian atrocity is the possible stoning of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani for adultery. Earlier ones include violent clampdown against democracy supporters and persecution of religious minorities. Actually, that last one is ongoing.
