How much did your congressmen cut spending?

Last week the House of Representatives passed a measure that cuts $61 billion in spending but funds the government for the rest of the fiscal year. Unlike the Nancy Pelosi-era House, an open amendment was utilized for this bill--there were hundreds of amendments proposed and hundreds of votes cast in just a few days.

Heritage Action was keeping score and it found out that 47 members of the House, all Republicans, voted to cut spending every time. And 133 congressmen, all Democrats, voted against every spending cut.

Find out how your representative voted by clicking here. My congresscritter, Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) voted to cut spending just five percent of the time.
