First declaration of human rights was in ancient Persia; contemporary Iranians suffer

Writing for the Tehran Times, the world's greatest newspaper, Dr. Darius Jahanian teaches us that what many people believe was the first declaration of human rights came from Cyrus the Great in 539 B.C.

Sadly, Iran is one of the world's worst human rights abusers. Women suffer the most.

Somehow, the Times left that part out of the article.
