Bill Clinton coming to Chicago to campaign for Rahm; Daley longest serving mayor

Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for Rahm Emanuel next month. Under Clinton, he was a senior adviser for policy and strategy for the Chicago mayoral candidate.

In related news, the current holder of the office, Richard M. Daley, became the city's longest serving mayor. Today is Daley's 7,916th day in office, one more than his father, Richard J., whose reign ended with his death in 1976.
