Obama coming back to Chicago to bail out Mob Banker

"Bankers don’t need another vote in the United States Senate -- they’ve got plenty." Barack Obama, January 19, 2010.

However, President Obama believes that there is room for one more vote for bankers, specifically Illinois State Treasurer, Alexi Giannoulias, the failed Mob Banker whose financial acumen caused the loss of $70 million in a college savings fund he managed.

The president is coming to Chicago on October 7 to raise money for the Democratic nominee for the US Senate seat currently held by Rod Blagojevich-appointee Roland Burris.

The failure of Giannoulias' family-owned Broadway Bank cost taxpayers $394 million.

Illinois and America can't afford Giannoulias. We can't afford Obama either, but we'll fight these battles one at a time.
