Ill 9th: Jan Schakowsky, she's NOT a fighter on our side

Like the Chicago area's fall colors, this year the lawn signs for Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Evanston) are coming out a bit earlier than usual. The strong challenge from Republican Joel Pollak, whom this blog enthusiastically endorses, probably has something to to with that.

The signs say Sckakowsky, who believe it or not could be more liberal than even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is "a Fighter on Our Side."

If you support the national energy tax, also known as cap and trade, then Schakowsky is on your side.

If you think even more government spending is needed to "stimulate" the economy, then Schakowsky is on your side.

If you support ObamaCare and a single-payer health care system, then Schakowsky is on your side.

If you support that jobs-killing favor to Big Labor, union card check, then Schakowsky is on your side.

If you support partial-birth abortion, then Schakowsky is on your side.

Hmm....I wonder how many people in Illinois' 9th District are really on Schakowsky's side?
