Giannoulias subpoenaed for Blago trial

Yes, there is such a thing as bad publicity. Illinois Democratic Senate nominee Alex Giannoulias, the failed mob banker, has been subpoenad by the defense to testify at the Rod Blagojevich corruption trial. Giannoulias said he introduced Valerie Jarret, Barack Obama's choice to replace him in the US Senate, to a union official who was likely working as an intermediary between the Blago and Obama camps.

The Bad Blago Summer rolls on for the Democrats.
