GOP and Dem chairs agree: White House needs to respond to Sestak job offer claim

Sen. Arlen Specter was President Obama's choice in last week's Pennsylvania Democratic Senate Primary. Early on in the campaign, the White House made it clear that it wanted Rep. Joe Sestak, who won last week's race, to bow out. Last year Sestak says he was offered a job within the administration if he threw in the towel, a claim he is not backing away from.

On Fox News Sunday, Democratic National Chairman Tim Kaine and his Republican counterpart, Michael Steele, both said that the White House needs to address the Sestak job offer issue.

And just this morning, on CBS' Face the Nation, Sestak once again said he was offered a position in exchange for dropping out of the primary.

And the White House continues to stonewall.

Transparency, baby.
