President Obama sees it differently.
President Barack Obama says he believes the Tea Party is built around a "core group" of people who question whether he is a U.S. citizen and believe he is a socialist.
But beyond that, Obama tells NBC he recognizes the movement involves "folks who have legitimate concerns" about the national debt and whether the government is taking on too many difficult issues simultaneously.
If Obama doesn't want to be called a socialist, then he shouldn't do socialist things--such as taking over General Motors.

ReplyDeleteNow, the Hawaiian born President, the 1st Pacific President as he termed it, must remember that the "Tea Party" began in reaction to the idiotic TARP and the subsequently daffy Cap & Trade. He must have 'misspoken' - done a Sgt. Crowley as it were and will have the Tea Party Folks over to the south lawn for a Blue Moon.
Too much irony, Rubes? Naw, I think not.
