Two nights ago I watched Jay Leno poke fun at CNN because the Cartoon Network now has higher ratings than "The Most Trusted Name in News." Newsbusters reports on the reason Daffy Duck gets more viewers. In regards to yesterday's Tea Party Express rally in Searchlight, Nevada, CNN reporter Fredericka Whitfield told her dwindling audience that the gathering attracted "hundreds of people, at least dozens of people - we haven't gotten a count of how many people turned out there."
Politico says 20,000 were in the crowd at Searchlight.
Leno's Tonight Show is an NBC property. He left out one item in his monologue about the Cartoon Network--MSNBC, a sister network of NBC, also trails the "toons." Leno could have made the same joke about Keith Olbermann's network.
