California Collision: Beringer Winery

Like the rest of Napa, the Beringer Winery, the oldest continuously operating winery in the valley, presents numerous engaging photographic treasures. On the left is the Rhine House mansion, built in 1884. It's a Gilded Age jewel encompassing stately stonework, stained glass windows, and of course, a wine cellar.

The grounds of the estate offers surrealness, which is why it was chosen for some scenes in the 1995 film "A Walk in the Clouds>."
