British ObamaCare update: Bats found flying in Scottish hospital

The bad news is that bats checked in to a Scottish hospital. The good news is that they weren't discovered in the blood bank. The BBC has the latest on Britain's government-run health care system, the National Health Service:

Bats were discovered flying around wards at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, it has emerged.

The animals were spotted on the general medical ward 6 and on the surgical ward of the infirmary last month.

A freedom of information request revealed NHS Tayside spent £11,173 dealing with pests at its hospitals between October 2008 and July 2009.

In addition to bats, pest controllers were called out 462 times to deal with pests like rats, mice and cockroaches.
