Cash for clunkers: Not for everyone, remember charitable organizations

Finally...the national mainstream media is paying attention to the problems for the cash for clunkers program.

Also, while I'm cognizant that buying new cars is good for the economy, before you decide to head to a dealership to trade in your car, it's important to know that not all vehicles qualify for a CFC trade-in.

Donate Car USA has a fact sheet on cash for clunkers, and I'd like to emphasize that many charities benefit when you donate your used car to charity.

And remember, in these tough economic times, many Americans are calling upon not-for-profits to assist them.

Besides, it looks like cash for clunkers is headed to the scrap heap early.
