Election Day: Vote McCain-Palin

Today's choice couldn't be clearer. If you want more goverment intrusiveness, want wealth distribution, skyrocketing electricity bills, high-priced gasoline, a weakened national defense, they vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

If you want to more greater personal independence, wealth creation, cheap and reliable energy, and an America that can fight off its enemies, then your choice should today should be for John MCain and Sarah Palin.

Here are some quotations for Election Day:

No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this Earth.
Ronald Reagan, "A Time for Choosing" address.

It's all these 'gatherers' and 'sharers' going around counting and measuring and taking off to storage. They do more gathering than sharing and we never see most of the stuff again.
Hob Hayward, Hobbit farmer, The Return of the King, J.R.R. Tolkien.

Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their country.
Television commericial for Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1952.

Fear! Fire! Foes! Awake!
The Hobbits of Buckland, The Return of the King,, J.R.R. Tolkien.

When the eagles are silent, the parrots begin to jabber.
Sir Winston Churchill

Get up off your arses men
Don't let 'em think you're getting lazy
Get up out of your easy chairs
We gotta lot to do out there, well ain't we?

"Get Up," The Kinks.

A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.
Theodore Roosevelt

Stand up, stand up, stand up and fight. America is worth fighting for. Nothing is inevitable here. We never give up. We never quit. We never hide from history. We make history. Now, let's go win this election and get this country moving again.
John McCain

Get out of bed, get out of your easy chairs. Vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin.
