Obama consistent on one thing: Getting himself elected

Which Barack Obama is running for president? The hard left liberal we saw in the primaries? Or the so-called moderate running in the general election? Does he stand for anything?

He does. Getting himself elected, and winging it from there, is what I think Obama believes in.

If the junior senator from Illinois was a genuine person, then he wouldn't have to "move to the center" for his November face-off, oops, make that faces-off, because he has two or more of them--against John McCain.

During the months where he and Hillary Clinton were battling for the Democratic nomination, Obama constantly referred to his 2002 speech at Chicago's Daley Plaza--when he was a nobody--expressing his opposition to the invasion of Iraq.

Now he's thinking of "refining" his Iraq war postion once he returns from his promised summer trip there. Obama of course has not visited the country in over two years.

Hats off the to Democratic netroots for giving Obama hell for his flip-flops. They're doing the job, along with conservative bloggers, that the mainstream media is supposed to do.
