Chicago's Rogers Park: A changing neighborhood
Quite some time ago there was a hamburger and chili restaurant on Clark Street in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood. Now it's the Taqueria Chorrito Restaurant.
It probably serves chili, but maybe not hamburgers. The old sign might be too expensive to take down.
I took this photograph Sunday morning.
Rogers Park, as I've noted before, was recently named the fifth-most bloggiest neighborhood in the country. However, friend-of-the-blog Tom Mannis of Rogers Park Bench believes that all of these bloggers are what legendary Chicago columnist called "the pinkish hue." Or if you prefer, white folks.
Rogers Park is multi-racial. Speak up if you're a non-white Rogers Park blogger.
And if there aren't any, perhaps the owner of Taqueria Chorrito can start one.
