The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York

One of the greats, Shane MacGowan, lead singer and principal songwriter of the Pogues, the great Celtic punk group, died this morning. 

MacGowan was 65, his history of substance abuse was legendary and ultimately tragic. 

The Pogues best known song was "Fairytale of New York," a Christmas song.

Joining the band here is Kirsty MacColl, who died in 2000 in a boating accident.
