While Chicago's leftist mayor, Lori Lightfoot, continues to show disrespect to the police, violent crime continues to plague the city at a higher rate than before the COVID-19 epidemic.
Over this past weekend 10 people were shot to death and at least 60 others were wounded. The worst incident of violence occurred in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the South Side, where two people were killed and 5 others wounded in a Sunday mass shooting.
