Squeeze - Loving You Tonight

Squeeze reached their popular and artistic peak with their 1981 album, East Side Story.

The English band's newest member then was pub rock veteran Paul Carrack, who sang lead on "Tempted."

But then Carrack left for a disappointing solo career and the fortunes of Squeeze sank too.

But Carrack joined Squeeze again for Some Fantastic Place. Watch and listen as Carrack takes the lead vocals on an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien singing "Loving You Tonight."

Had Carrack not left Squeeze--both probably would have been much better off.
