This past weekend om Chicago six people were shot to death in Chicago, including a 17-year-old boy who was murdered on the South Side after 3:00am Sunday in what seems to be one of those street parties that so often leads to violence. ABC Chicago says the victim was "was among a group of 30 to 40 people" gathered at that late hour. Three others were wounded in that mass shooting.
Two others were killed over the weekend on the South Side, the other fatalities occurred on the West Side.
