Chiraq: Man wounded on Kennedy Expressway

Last night there was another Chicago expressway shooting, this time on the Kennedy, in a pretty good neighborhood. But as I"ve remarked before, Chiraq carnage is expanding out of the 'hood.

From NBC Chicago:

A man showed up at a Chicago hospital with a gunshot wound after being shot on the Kennedy Expressway late Wednesday night, police said.

Illinois State Police said the man was driving along just after 11 p.m. in the inbound lanes of I-90/94 near the Addison exit when he was shot just above his left hip.

The man was able to drive himself to Swedish Covenant Hospital on the city’s North Side before he was transferred to Stroger Hospital, police said. Details on his condition were not immediately made available.
