Chiraq: 6 dead and at least 17 wounded over weekend

The first weekend of April was a deadly one in Chicago as six people were shot to death and at least 17 others were wounded.

The worst incident of the weekend happened on Sunday afternoon when six people were shot in East Garfield Park on the West Side, two of them fatally.

Other weekend fatal Chiraq shootings took place in West Pullman, Auburn Gresham, South Chicago on the South Side, with an Austin killing rounding up the total on the West Side.
