The Clash - Up in Heaven (Not Only Here)

How do you know a liberal policy is awful? When left wingers condemn it.

That is what the Clash--the self proclaimed "Only Band That Matters"--did with their 1980 song "Up in Heaven (Not Only Here)" from Sandinista!

The Clash rightly excoriated government-run housing--known as council flats in Great Britain--in that underrated song.
You can't live in a home which should not have been built
By the bourgeois clerks who bear no guilt
When the wind hits this building this building it tilts
One day it will surely fall to the ground...
Three members of the Clash appear in the video, Mick Jones, Topper Headon, and Paul Simonon.

Where was Joe Strummer?
