Trump vows to "send in the feds" to fix "horrible" Chicago carnage

During the general election campaign Donald J. Trump became the first Republican since perhaps Herbert Hoover to make a serious effort to win African-American votes. He didn't get many but he exceeded Mitt Romney's miniscule tally.

The president, following up on his inauguration vow to be the president of all Americans, is not forgetting blacks now that he's moved into the White House

Yep, Trump on Twitter tonight said, "If Chicago doesn't fix the horrible 'carnage' going on, 228 shootings with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!"

What "the feds" mean is anyone's guess, but the president better make plans, if he hasn't already, because Chicago's mayor, Rahm Emanuel, a hardened liberal, will not be able to diminish the carnage because like his old boss, Barack Obama, Emanuel is an ideologue who cannot envision any solution to a problem that doesn't involve leftism.
