BBC calls Whitman a "leading Republican," neglects to say she backed Hillary

Wow, someone needs to educate the BBC's environment analyst Roger Harrabin on American politics. He interviewed Christine Todd Whitman, the former governor of New Jersey who was head of the Environmental Protection Agency for 18 months. His story, where he calls Whitman a "leading Republican," discusses her criticism of President-elect Donald Trump's stance on the environment, particularly his disdain for so-called clean energy while favoring fossil fuels.

Tomorrow the "Beeb's" interview will air, so maybe some of my criticisms will be moot. Maybe not. But here we go. Whitman is a has-been who hasn't held public office in over a decade. This so-called "leading Republican" endorsed Hillary Clinton over Trump, which Harriban fails to mention. What has been doing since she left here EPA job since 2003? Serving on boards--public life can be very rewarding--and running Whitman Strategy, a lobbying group, and comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler, none of that information made it into Harriban's article.

Leading Republican? Perhaps within the shameful crony capitalism wing of the GOP.

Oh, Whitman Strategy pushes so-called clean energy.

Media bias, or should I say media stupidity, is alive and well in 2017. Happy New Year all the same.
