Chiraq: Shots fired at cops for 6th time in 12 days, 94-year-old WWII vet beaten and robbed

Chiraq continues its descent into anarchy. For the sixth time in twelve days Chicago Police officers were shot at, the latest incident was early this morning in the normally quiet University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side.

Garfield Ridge on the Southwest Side is also generally peaceful. But on Pearl Harbor Day a 94-year-old woman, a  wheelchair bound World War II veteran, had her car stolen, was robbed of her purse, and was beaten. She is being treated for a concussion and broken bones at Hines VA Hospital.

Barack Obama and his family will not be moving back to Chicago when is presidency ends next month.
