Trump: "Detroit is the living, breathing example of my opponent's failed economic agenda"

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke to the prestigious Detroit Economic Club today, at Cobo Hall today, where he said, "Detroit is the living, breathing example of my opponent's failed economic agenda."

The Motor City last had a Republican mayor in 1962.

Trump also proposed simplifying the federal tax code, going from seven tax brackets to only three. The political newcomer also touted his plan to permit parents to completely deduct the cost of child care.
