Last year Dem candidate O'Malley apologized for saying "all lives matter"; Trump called him "weak" and "pathetic"

In 2003, as the Howard Dean movement took hold in the Democratic Party, the Dems became the party of the loony left. Five years later the nation, charmed by Barack Obama's smooth baritone and aided by white guilt, turned the White House into the nut house.

Former Balitmore mayor and Maryland governor Martin O'Malley, a liberal but not a leftist, tried to be the anti-Hillary Clinton early in the 2016 presidential campaign but the loons wanted more lunacy--and they flocked to Bernie Sanders instead.

Last summer O'Malley made the, ahem, mistake of saying other lives matter besides black ones.

From CNN last July:
Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley apologized on Saturday for saying "All lives matter" while discussing police violence against African-Americans with liberal demonstrators.

Several dozen demonstrators interrupted the former Maryland governor while he was speaking here at the Netroots Nation conference, a gathering of liberal activists, demanding that he address criminal justice and police brutality. When they shouted, "Black lives matter!" a rallying cry of protests that broke out after several black Americans were killed at the hands of police in recent months, O'Malley responded: "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter."

The demonstrators, who were mostly black, responded by booing him and shouting him down.
Later that day O'Malley apologized.
"I meant no disrespect," O'Malley said in an interview on This Week in Blackness, a digital show. "That was a mistake on my part and I meant no disrespect. I did not mean to be insensitive in any way or communicate that I did not understand the tremendous passion, commitment and feeling and depth of feeling that all of us should be attaching to this issue."
Instead, O'Malley should have said, "Oh, just shut the fuck up."

The following month Donald Trump correctly said of O'Malley's cave-in, "And then he apologized like a little baby, like a disgusting, little weak, pathetic baby, and that's the problem with our country."

O'Malley collect less than one-percent of the vote in the Iowa Caucuses. Trump will accept the Republican nomination for president next week.
