(Video) Union goons shout obscenities at Illinois' GOP governor

Illinois' reform governor, Republican Bruce Rauner, visited Ottawa yesterday, which is best-known as the site of the first Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Just steps from where Abraham Lincoln faced incumbent Democrat Sen. Stephen A. Douglas, Rauner was greeted by a crowd of union thugs who shouted obscenities at the Land of Lincoln's chief executive. Presumably they are angry because Illinois is headed into a second year without a budget.

Warning: Not safe for work!

In 1858, even though America was on the brink of civil war, Honest Abe and the Little Giant didn't have to confront such goonery.

Oh, I have to repeat myself, again. Because House speaker and Democratic party boss Michael Madigan of Chicago used his gerrymandering skills to build supermajorities in the General Assembly, Rauner is not need to pass a budget.

Do you get it, thugs?

Probably not.

And now for the tagline:

Furthermore, I consider that Michael Madigan must be defeated.
