Deadly May in Chiraq: 66 dead and 397 wounded

While ABC 7 Chicago says this May was one of the deadliest one in years, Chicago police officials are hailing a decline in violence.

Last month 66 Chicagoans were murdered and 397

Rahm Emanuel speaks of "Chicago values," but roughly once every 18 months an alderman goes to prison. The latest is Sandi Jackson, who formerly represented the 7th Ward; she's the wife of another jailbird, former congressman Jesse Jackson Jr.

And now we have "Chicago math," courtesy of the CPD, and its celebration over a downtrend in violence.
