Mother's Day weekend in Detroit was year's second-most violent

Again I have to ask: What does mom think?

From the Detroit News:

A violent Mother's Day weekend in which 21 people were shot — six fatally — along with a fatal stabbing, made it the second most violent weekend of the year, the city's police chief said Monday.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said the city's homicide total now stands at 96, the same number recorded last year at this time.

The chief said the city's most violent weekend, was two weeks ago with 24 shooting victims.

The news was bad in Chicago too.
