Warm weather brought out the worst in Chicagoans as three people were shot to death and at least 23 others were wounded--all on the south and west sides.

One of the fatalities was a North Lawndale was shot in the head and found on the street. Two men were shot to death in Englewood over a dispute about access to a party.

One of the wounded was a baby who was shot in the neck while sitting in the back seat of a car in Austin.
