Bullies: Chicago Teachers Union threatens to kick out members who defy illegal strike

On Friday the far-left Chicago Teachers Union will hold an illegal one-day strike. Chicago Public Schools is essentially insolvent. As with Illinois and the city of Chicago, pension obligations are pushing the nation's third-largest school district over the cliff.

Teachers--remember, they are supposed to be for the kids--and other CTU members who show up for work on Friday and obey the law face expulsion from the union. That may seem be a good thing, but because Illinois is not a right-to-work state the law-abiding CTU members will still have to cough up union dues out of their paychecks.

In their last contract an anti-bullying clause was added.

Seventy percent of the CPS budget goes to wages and benefits.
