Pope condemns Trump on wall but silent on ex-priest charged with murder of beauty queen near Mexican border

Last week a former Catholic priest, John Feit, was indicted for a 1960 rape and murder of a young Hispanic beauty queen near the border town of McAllen, Texas.

Yesterday Pope Francis offered a mass at the USA-Mexican border in Ciudad Juarez where he decried the suffering of migrants. Let me repeat that--at the border.

Today the Jesuit Pope questioned Donald Trump's Christianity over his plan to build a wall on the Mexican border.

But the Pope has said nothing of the murder allegations of Feit, who quit the priesthood in the 1970s, worked for a while at a New Mexico center for treating troubled priests, clearing some men-of-the-cloth to return to parish work where they molested youths, including James Porter, who sexually abused 100 kids.
