They still can't drive, but a few Saudi women elected to local offices

Municipal elections took place yesterday in the Islamo-supremacist kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over 2,000 offices were contested--and 19 women won. But these new public officials still can't drive a car in the kingdom, nor can they travel outside of the nation without a male escort.

And despite the elections, Saudi Arabia is ruled by autocratic sharia law.

In other words, nothing to see here folks, move along.
