Chicago top cop: 9-year-old was murdered because of dad's gang ties

Just pure evil took place on Chicago's South Side on Monday.

Of course President Obama won't speak out on this latest atrocity in his hometown because he won't be able to score political points if he does so.

Chicago police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Thursday that 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee was targeted because of his father's gang ties, lured into a South Side alley Monday afternoon and executed.

Speaking at the mouth of the alley where Tyshawn was shot multiple times, McCarthy called the slaying "probably the most abhorrent, cowardly, unfathomable crime" he had seen in his 35 years in law enforcement.

McCarthy said police believe Tyshawn was killed because of his father's gang ties and a recent series of shootings between gang factions. He said the father, Pierre Stokes, is not cooperating with police in the investigation.

When investigators tried to approach him, Stokes responded with words "you can't say ... on TV," McCarthy said.

It gets worse. McCarthy says that he suspects that this horrible excuse of a father knows who killed Tyshawn.

Oh, the #BlackLivesMatters screechers sure are quiet about this heinous crime.
